Mission Food For All

Mission Food for All program is committed to fighting hunger and providing food security to families in need. Through this initiative, we enroll vulnerable families for a year, offering them monthly food kits filled with essential items such as cooking oil, 10 kg rice bags, flour (aata), spices, and other necessary ration supplies to sustain their households.

The process begins with the submission of cases, which are then thoroughly verified according to our set criteria. Verification also involves input from local Mohalla Masjids (community mosques) to ensure that each family genuinely requires assistance. Once verified, the family is enrolled in the program and receives monthly food kits for one year.

At the end of each year, we reassess the family's financial situation. If their condition has improved, we conclude the support. If not, we continue providing assistance for the next year to ensure that they do not face food insecurity.

Mission Food for All aims to reduce the burden of hunger, giving families the stability they need to focus on improving their lives and moving toward a more secure future.

About this Program

Verification Process of Cases

The verification process for Mission Food for All ensures that only deserving families receive assistance. Here’s how it works:

1. Case Submission

Families in need of food aid either apply directly to Sahuliyat Kashmir or are referred by local community members. Each case is carefully documented, including the family’s financial situation and personal background.

2. Initial Assessment

Our team conducts an initial assessment to determine the family’s eligibility based on factors such as income, family size, and current living conditions. Families with a monthly income below the threshold are considered for further verification.

3. Community Confirmation (Mohalla Masjid)

As part of the verification, we seek confirmation from the local Mohalla Masjid (community mosque) in the family's area. The mosque leadership provides insight into the family’s situation, helping us verify the authenticity of their need.

4. Home Visits

Our team carries out home visits to evaluate the family's living conditions and gather more information. This step ensures a clear understanding of their financial challenges and verifies that the aid is truly needed.

5. Final Approval

Once the verification steps are complete, the case is reviewed by our program managers for final approval. Families that meet all the criteria are enrolled in the program for one year.
